About the Role

We are actively seeking a Digital Forensics Specialist to join our team for one of our esteemed clients. This role provides a unique opportunity to tackle cutting-edge challenges in cybersecurity and contribute to critical investigations.

Your Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive digital forensics investigations for targeted cyberattacks and security incidents, including the analysis of sensitive (classified or non-classified) information leaks.
  • Perform malware analysis and behavioral analysis to develop actionable cyber threat intelligence.
  • Research and develop innovative solutions to counter evolving cyberattack risks.
  • Participate in key IT Security events and engage with research stakeholders in the cybersecurity domain.
  • Contribute to internal research groups to design and enhance Information Security policies.

What We Are Looking For

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A Master’s degree in ICT or a related field.
  • At least 8 years of IT expertise, with a strong focus on security.
  • A minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience in digital forensics.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft and Linux operating systems.
  • A solid understanding of security technologies, including Antivirus, Firewalls, IDS, and network analysis tools (e.g., Wireshark).
  • Experience installing and configuring industry-standard security solutions like MISP, OpenCTI, and theHIVE.
  • Programming skills in Bash/Shell Scripting and Python; knowledge of additional languages like Java or C/C++ is a plus.
  • Knowledge of offensive security techniques and penetration testing.
  • Familiarity with computer forensics tools (e.g., EnCase, Access Data, FTK) and expertise in maintaining the forensic chain.
  • Skills in malware analysis, reverse engineering, and assembly language.
  • Proficiency in tools such as IDA, OllyDbg, and Cuckoo Sandbox.
  • Strong research abilities and the capability to write user documentation on information systems and IT security.
  • A commitment to high-quality standards and the ability to perform risk analysis in IT Security contexts.
  • Fluency in English and an intermediate or higher level of French.
