Our Story
Quantum Wave Solutions (QWS) is a Belgian-Luxembourg IT consultancy , founded by two complementary co-founders: a technical lead with a research background in AI, machine learning, and computational chemistry, and an operations and commercial lead with experience running her own Belgian SRL since 2019 and working inside Luxembourg’s EU IT subcontracting ecosystem.
QWS operates through Quantum Wave Solutions Belgium SRL (Brussels, EU Quarter) and Quantum Wave Solutions S.à r.l. (Luxembourg).
We’re transparent about our size: two founders plus a curated bench of senior consultants. Small by design, not by accident. What we deliver: technically-vetted senior IT, AI/ML, and cybersecurity consultants for EU institutions and Luxembourg’s financial sector.

Jessica Laignel
Co-founder, Operations & Partnerships
Jessica Laignel leads commercial operations and the consultant lifecycle at QWS — sourcing, contracts, onboarding, timesheets, billing, and compliance. She brings 4 years of operational experience inside a Luxembourg EU IT subcontracting firm, where she ran back-office operations for senior consultants placed at several major framework contractors. She is the primary point of contact for clients and consultants.
Stijn Fias
Co-founder & Technical Lead
Stijn Fias leads consultant screening and the AI/ML practice at QWS. He is also Director of Quantum Chemistry at Chembricks, with 20+ years of research and industrial experience at the intersection of computational chemistry, molecular modelling, and machine learning. He was awarded the Marie Skłodowska-Curie outgoing fellowship in 2016 and has (co-)authored 50 peer-reviewed publications with 2,800+ citations and an h-index of 31.
